A fundraising campaign selling coupons in Centre College to raise funds for flood relief efforts in Myanmar. We partnered with 8 local businesses in Danville, KY, USA. The project took place on Dec 11, 12, and 13.

Myanmar, one of the Southeast Asian countries, faced widespread flooding that devastated many parts of the country. The floods have also damaged roads, bridges, and farmlands, making it difficult to reach those in need and disrupting livelihoods.

In response to this crisis, we will be implementing the “Coupons for Compassion” project. For only $3, People can purchase a coupon that can be redeemed for discounts at participating businesses. The discount offered will vary from business to business.
All proceeds will be directed toward providing relief for flood victims in Myanmar.

Ywar Thit, a village located in Nay Pyi Taw, has been severely impacted by a recent flood crisis. The project leader previously visited the village and has connections with residents who are working tirelessly to rebuild their community. The funds raised from this project will directly support these rebuilding efforts, providing essential resources and assistance to those affected.
